The 2024 Melges 24 Canadian National Championship will be taking place Friday, September 20th to Sunday, September 22nd at the West Vancouver Yacht Club in West Vancouver, BC, Canada. Racing will take place in the beautiful Howe Sound, English Bay and Salish Sea areas. This west coast event follows the Melges 24 World Championship in San Francisco mid-August and is only a 16 hour drive away through the breathtaking Pacific Northwest. The Canadian Championship is also a part of the 2024 Melges 24 National Sailing Series.
The regatta is open to all Melges 24 boats that are members of their respective Member National Authority. To compete in the Corinthian division, all sailors must register with World Sailing prior to September 1, 2024 and declare their CAT 1 status and provide their World Sailing ID on their race entry forms. Entry Fee of $530 CAD until August 1, 2024 23h59 PT
Late Registrant Fee of $630 CAD from August 2-September 1, 2024
Last Minute Registrant Fee of $730 CAD from September 2-19 at 4pm
Important Dates
August 1 – Regular Registration cutoff, late fees of $100 CAD apply
September 1 – Corinthian Teams must submit their eligibility before this date to World Sailing & the regatta
September 1 – Late Registration cutoff, late fees of $200 CAD apply
September 19 at 4pm PT – Last Minute Registration cutoff, no entries after this time
