Dear Canadian Melges 24 boat owners, crew and supporters!
Canadian Melges 24 Class Association is announcing a media contest for the best photo shot and video clip featuring our great boat. The rules are as follows:
- The contest is open to all Canadian boat owners, crews or supporters. CM24CA board members are excluded from the contest.
- The boat associated with the submission must be specified.
- The link to or a file with a photo or video should be submitted by email to [email protected] from June 1, 2018 to October 31, 2018.
- CM24CA will have a sole authority to reject the media if it finds the content inappropriate.
- No limit for the number of the media pieces submitted.
- CM24CA will publish the photos as soon as possible after the submission and a review on Instagram page: https://www.instagram.
com/cm24ca/ and videos on YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/ channel/ UC01kDY1nM4iGwg4Sv5AEBrA - The voting system: we will count the “likes” on the Instagram and Youtube. The likes count will be taken on December 31, 2018 at 12:00PM EST. In case of a tie the media that was published later wins.
- The awards are: 50% off the 2019 class membership for the best video and 30% off for the best photo. Additional awards may be granted on CM24CA discretion. The winners will be announced in January 2019.
